There are few artists that exemplify the state of Texas more than ZZ Top.
Now, Tres Hombres members can get their hands on pieces of ZZ Top history at an auction in Dallas' Design District.
A collection of guitars and costumes once owned by the late ZZ Top member Dusty Hill will be displayed and available for purchase in an auction organized by the Los Angeles-based auction house Julien's Auctions.
The exhibit, which opens today, will feature over 1,000 items owned by Hill, including the famed fur-covered bass Hill played in the "Legs" video, which is expected to sell for at least $80,000.
ZZ Top fans van visit the free exhibit today and tomorrow from Noon to 8pm, December 2-3 from 10:30am to 6:30pm, and from December 4-7 from Noon to 8pm.
The online and in-person auction will begin at 6pm on December 7. The exhibit is located at 915 Slocum St, Dallas, TX 75207.
