Earlier this year, DFW's own Jaskaran Singh became the first ever primetime Jeopardy National College Champion, winning $250,000. Now, Singh will be returning to the Jeopardy stage, this time in hopes of winning the quiz show's Tournament of Champions. Singh's attempt will begin this week, as he takes on a number of former show winners.
When Jaskaran Singh won the Jeopardy National College Champion he was still a student at UT Austin. Now, the Plano West graduate is back in his home town, working as a consultant. However, he will soon have another chance at winning $250,000 as he takes on other Jeopardy winners in the Tournament of Champions.
According to Dallas Morning News, Singh's challenge will begin on Friday, November 4. The lineup of 21 contestants features five super-champions, every contestant who won four or more games since the last tournament in 2020, the winners of the Jeopardy National College Championship and the Professors Tournament. Hopefully Singh is ready to make DFW proud once again.
