There aren’t too many similarities between the beloved coming of age film ‘Stand By Me’ and the classic cartoon ‘South Park’ other than both follow a group of four boys. However, that was apparently enough for one fan to combine the two into a hilarious piece of fan art. The painting shows the four boys from ‘Stand By Me’ dressed as their ‘South Park’ counterparts, and the art has even caught the attention of Jerry O’Connell.

As seen in the now viral photo, the artist places Will Wheaton, River Phoenix, Corey Feldman and Jerry O’Connell in the clothing of Kenny, Stan, Kyle and Cartman to combine the beloved movie and television show. While many fans pointed to the similarities, it was the combination of Jerry O’Connell and Cartman that caught the attention of most, including O’Connell. “Who did this and why am I Cartman?” the actor tweeted, sending the photo viral.

According to Screen Rant, the artist of the viral fan art is unknown. Still, it led to many wondering who would actually play the South Park characters in a live action version of the show. Too bad time travel doesn’t exist, because clearly Jerry O’Connell would make a perfect Cartman.
