The final episode of ‘King of the Hill’ may have aired 12 years ago, but the iconic series has remained a favorite for many animation fans. Now, after months of rumors, the show’s creators have confirmed ‘King of the Hill’ will return. It was recently announced that Mike Judge and Greg Daniels have formed a new animation company, with a ‘King of the Hill’ reboot at the top of their list.
Back in 2021, Mike Judge excited fans when he revealed he was in negotiations to create a ‘King of the Hill reboot. Now, fans are getting a bit more information on the reboot, as the show’s creators, Judge and Greg Daniels, recently confirmed they have started a new animation company, Bandera Entertainment. “We were very excited to go into different tones and different styles and try to expand the animation art form. We're in a golden age for content, right? That's animation, too. That was one of the things we were talking about in founding the company: ‘Let's push animation into all these different genres,’” said Daniels.

According to Comicbook.com, the new production company currently has 12 projects in the works, but none bigger than ‘King of the Hill.’ There is still no information on when the reboot will air, and where fans can watch. Hopefully fans won’t have to wait as long for the next major announcement.
