Last month, photos went viral of an off-brand Buc-ee's called "BUK-II'S" that was set to open for business in Mexico. It even had its own off-brand beaver!
Unfortunately, the actual Buc-ee's didn't take too kindly too another store infringing on their likeness, so they took action.
As the result of a threat of litigation, BUK-II'S is now called "MINI SUPER BUK-I'S," and instead of a knockoff beaver painted on its walls now has a couple of chipmunks with mullets. Honestly, that's an upgrade.
TikToker Jasmine Soto told MySA.com that it doesn't appear that MINI SUPER BUK-I'S is open for business yet, but looks close.
The store is located in Matamoros, Tamaulipas, about 10 minutes south of the Los Indios Texas International Bridge, which crosses the Rio Grande connecting the United States-Mexico border cities of Los Indios, Texas and Matamoros, Tamaulipas.
