Thieves are always on the lookout for products worth stealing. However, while usually these are high-priced, in-demand items they can quickly sell for a profit, one DFW crime team had a different idea for their theft ring. Lake Worth police arrested a brother and sister crime duo recently after they were accused of stealing thousands of dollars worth of scented candles.

Earlier this week, Lake Worth police arrested 19-year-old Dexter Goynes and 22-year-old Destiny Goynes after they were accused of stealing scented candles from a local retail store. Dexter was first arrested after police spotted him at the store Monday. His sister, Destiny, was later arrested in connection to the case.
