The Texas Ranchers are one of the eight founding Major League Pickleball teams in the U.S. and have just added another star to the growing roster of famous pickleball enthusiasts.
Rapper Lil Wayne recently became a part of the Texas Ranchers ownership group, joining the likes of professional golfer Scottie Scheffler, jewelry designer Kendra Scott, country artist Zach Bryan, and Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons.
According to the Dallas Morning News, Wayne will serve as a "strategic adviser" to the team.
The rapper said in a statement, "Pickleball is the moment, and I'm excited to be part of the Texas Ranchers ownership group. I've enjoyed watching and couldn't pass up the opportunity to join this team of owners."
