Stealing a car is a pretty terrible thing to do, but apparently to some it’s not as bad as bad parenting. A man in Oregon recently stole a car, only to find a woman’s son was still in the back seat. The man returned to the scene of the crime, in order to yell at the mother, and then stole her car again.
The Beaverton Police Department recently shared details of the strange crime, claiming they are still searching for the car thief. According to the report, the man realized the woman’s four year old son was still in the back seat after he stole the vehicle. He then “drove back and ordered her to take the child out of the car and then drove away again,” According to the report.
It seems everyone was thankful the man returned the child, despite continuing his crime of stealing the vehicle. The police claim the mother seemed overwhelmed and recognized her mistake. Maybe the man will have more parenting tips once he is caught.
