The thought of no longer getting to enjoy their favorite dish is enough to drive anyone crazy, which is why one man recently decided to do something wild when he heard his favorite restaurant was struggling. The man decided to spend 24 hours in a tub of bean dip in order to raise awareness and encourage people to eat there.
Hunter Ray Barker went viral recently after spending 24 hours in a tub of bean dip outside his favorite restaurant in California, Los Toros. “We have a golden opportunity to grab the bull by the horns and support local businesses in a big explosive way because why not?" said Barker. Along with spending the day in the tub, Barker wore a shirt with the restaurant’s logo, and got a tattoo of the logo while sitting in the tub.
According to Fox News, Barker also had a drawing for a $200 gift certificate for the restaurant, and set up deals and discounts on his stunt website. Barker said he had been going to Los Toros since he was a kid, and claimed it was his "favorite restaurant in the world." Hopefully his stunt is enough to help keep them going.
