Pizza is beloved by many, but to some the dish is sacred and is not to be messed with. One man is learning that the hard way after video of his strange pizza cooling technique went viral. As seen in the video, the man runs cool water over his slice of pizza before eating it, and the internet is letting him know that is not allowed.
While no one enjoys biting into food and burning their mouth, the man in the viral video is not seeing many defenders after using cold water to cool his slice of pizza. "In college, my husband and I would make oven pizzas and he would run his slices under the water fountain to cool it down faster. He says it didn't change the taste and was still good," said the woman who first shared the video.
Since then, the video has been viewed thousands of times across multiple platforms, with many agreeing this technique is unacceptable. While some claimed they would give it a try, others don't need to be convinced that water and pizza don't mix well. Hopefully this man doesn't have any other strange food techniques that need to be revealed.
