Over the last few years, a number of iconic movies and television series have been rebooted. This has led to just about every fan demanding their favorite show be brought back as well. Of course, sometimes it’s just not possible as in some cases the cast has aged out of the role, and in others they just dislike each other so much they don’t want to be in the same room. Luckily, if that’s the case for the iconic show ‘Married…With Children,’ someone has figured out the perfect way around it.
It was recently announced that ‘Married…With Children’ would be rebooted as an animated series with the entire original cast returning. Ed O’Neill, Katey Sagal, Christina Applegate and David Faustino are all on board for the reboot that will be will be written by Family Guy executive producer Alex Carter. According to NME, Fox, Hulu and Peacock are all interested in the reboot.
While no network or streaming service has officially picked up the series, Sony Pictures Television already has deals with the original cast. Soon, the Bundy family will be back on TV. Hopefully this run lasts another 10 years.
