When it comes to creating a cinematic universe, Marvel has done what many franchises could only dream of. Throughout countless movies and series, fans have become deeply invested in both the characters and storylines. The passion runs so deep that some Marvel fan recently purchased a billboard in Los Angeles calling for a Tony Stark revival in the MCU.
When ‘Avengers: Endgame’ was released back in 2019, it marked the end of Robert Downey Jr’s run as Tony Stark. While the actor led the franchise throughout a number of films, his time as Iron Man had ran its course, however some fans weren’t ready to let go. Many have since called for the actor to return to the role, but one fan took things a step further, erecting a billboard in Los Angeles asking to “bring back Tony Stark.”
The billboard also includes the hashtag “#BringBackTonyStarkToLife” which has both confused and amused many who have seen the billboard. While it doesn’t seem the billboard will convince Robert Downey Jr. to return to the role full time, rumors are he may appear in the upcoming ‘Black Widow’ film, according to Brobible. If fans can force the ‘Snyder Cut’ to be released, maybe they can bring back Tony Stark too.
