Any time someone buys a scratch off lottery ticket, they start thinking about how they would spend the prize money. Before the ticket is even touched, many believe they are on their way to becoming a millionaire. Sadly, most of those lottery cards end in disappointment. However, one DFW resident recently found some luck, winning $1 million on a Texas Lottery scratch ticket.

Texas Lottery’s Instant Millionaire scratch ticket game is popular with many gamblers, as they claim the overall odds of winning any prizes are one in 3.20. Of course, most are hoping for the top prize of $1 million, as one McKinney resident recently won. While the winner chose to remain anonymous, it has been reported that the winning ticket was purchased at a Kwik Shop located at 215 E. University Drive in McKinney.

According to NBC DFW, this was the 36th out of 40 prizes worth $1 million to be claimed in Texas Lottery’s Instant Millionaire scratch ticket game. Now, many are hoping to be one of the final 4 to claim the $1 million prize. Hopefully another winner comes from DFW.
