Getting a phone call from a child’s school can be a stressful experience for any parents. While most of the time what they’ve done is harmless, if the school is calling, the act is probably worthy of a punishment. However, one parent couldn’t help but laugh and share video of the experience, after she was informed her son attempted to throw a rave in the boy’s bathroom.
When twelve-year-old Cael Bell was dressed and ready for school early recently, his mother knew something was up. Still, she couldn’t have expected a call from the school claiming to have confiscated DJ equipment from her son. According to the boy’s mother, he planned a rave on Snapchat for “all year 8 boys” in the boy’s bathroom, sneaking a TV, speakers, DJ system and lights into the bathroom without being caught.
“When I heard what Cael had done, from advertising the rave on Snapchat to actually pulling it off and even providing refreshments, I couldn’t help but see the funny side,” said the mother. Luckily for Cael, he didn’t face any punishment, and learned his lesson about throwing raves at school. Soon enough, this kid will be headlining actual raves.
