League City Animal Care near Houston is asking residents to be on the lookout for a bright red cat that’s been seen roaming the area.
The cat isn’t some undiscovered species, it appears to be covered in some sort of red paint or dye, and the shelter is trying to capture it and provide any sort of aid it may need.
Per WFAA, the shelter is asking residents to do nothing, as leaving food out or even trying to capture it can “make it more difficult for our trapping efforts to be successful.”
In a recent update, League City Animal Care says they are still “actively working to safely trap the cat and get them into our care.”
