Police in Austin, TX were engaged in a standoff with a man for more than two-and-a-half hours after he forced his way into a home and would not leave.

The man, 45-year-old Larry Robinson, was also nude during the duration of this incident.

The homeowner's wife and dog fended off Robinson, with the pooch even biting the 45-year-old during the encounter.  She was able to escape the house and call 911.

The homeowner is employed at a gun store in central Texas, and kept a variety of loaded weapons in the house, which prompted the police to treat the situation as a "loaded barricade subject call," CPL. Jose Mendez, with the Austin Police Public Information Office told FOX 7.

Unable to coax Robinson out of the home on his own, the police used flash bangs and other "distractionary" devices" which eventually led to his surrender.

The homeowner's wife suffered an ankle contusion and bleeding after Robinson kicked a dog kennel into her, but no officers were injured during the incident.

Robinson is currently facing charges of burglary, but he could face more charges as the investigation continues.
