Even though summer is winding down, there’s still plenty of time to have a nice barbecue on the patio.
It’s kind of hard to do that without any steaks though, right? Who wants to go to a barbecue that only has chicken?
Nearly 30,000 pounds of raw beef have been recalled from Texas and Florida, after health officials discovered it wasn’t inspected upon entering the United States.
Per the Dallas Morning News, the products were produced by Corte Argentino USA LLC, located in Aventura, Fla., between May 15 and May 20. They have use or freeze-by dates between September 15 and September 20.
The recalled items include:
-Boneless beef “Top Sirloin Butt” (“Cuadril Sin Tapa”)
-Boneless beef “Eye Round” (“Peceto”)
-Boneless beef “Topside Cap Off” (“Nalga AD S/Tapa”)
-Boneless beef “Flat” (“Carnaza Cuadrada”)
-Boneless beef “Knuckle” (“Bola de Lomo”)
Thankfully, there have been no officials reports of any sickness developing from consuming the beef, but officials advise anyone who has purchased the recalled products should throw them away.
