There are many who claim pizza as their favorite food, yet most differ on their preferred pizza topping. However, pizza fans are able to agree on one thing; what toppings belong nowhere near a slice of pizza. A recent survey found America’s least favorite pizza topping, and the results should come as no surprise.
According to the recent survey, America’s least favorite pizza topping is anchovies. The survey asked 6,000 adults about their preferred pizza toppings, and 61% of respondents named anchovies as their least favorite, according to Eat This. Following anchovies on the list was eggplant, artichokes, broccoli, and pineapple.
Luckily for anchovies things could turn around in the future. According to the results, fewer than half of respondents ages 18-24 said they disliked anchovies. Soon enough, the fishy topping will be a pizza staple.
