Being on television is a dream career for many, but not all television jobs are as glamorous as they seem. One news reporter learned that the hard way recently while detailing a story on live TV. As seen in the clip that recently went viral, the reporter was hit by a moving vehicle while standing on the street trying to deliver a story. Luckily, she was able to bounce back and complete the report even after being knocked to the ground by a car.
Earlier this week, WSAZ West Virginia reporter Tori Yorgey was live discussing inclement weather with the news anchor back in studio when she got an unexpected visitor. Unlike most live news reports, it wasn’t someone screaming something inappropriate behind her, but instead a moving car quickly coming towards her. Sadly, Yorgey didn’t see or hear the vehicle and was struck by it during her report, knocking her to the ground.

As seen in the clip, the news anchor seems stunned, but luckily Yorgey eventually gets up and even finishes the report after being hit by the car. According to Bro Bible, the reporter shared that this was not the first time she had been hit by a car. Maybe now she can get that in-studio promotion.
