When Alamo Drafthouse filed for bankruptcy last year, many thought it was an end to their favorite movie theater chain. Luckily, a number of locations have since been revived, but a few more are still dealing with the fallout. Despite the movie industry finally starting to turn things around after a rough couple of years, yet another DFW location has announced they are closing their doors for good.
One of the newer Alamo Drafthouse locations in the metroplex won’t be returning as expected. It was only three years ago that the North Richland Hills locations debuted for the premiere of ‘Avengers: Endgame.’ Now, after shutting their doors temporarily in 2020, the movie theater announced they will now remain permanently closed.

According to Dallas Morning News, The North Richland Hills, Richardson and Lake Highlands locations all filed for bankruptcy recently. Luckily for people in Richardson and Lake Highlands, those locations will remain open while they go through Chapter 11 proceedings. However, that is not the case for North Richland Hills, as locals will now have to find somewhere new to drink while watching movies.
