Police officers in Denton have arrested a 47-year-old man after he allegedly barricaded himself inside an area Walmart and fired arrows at multiple shoppers.
According to the Denton Record-Chronicle, the man took a bow, arrows, arrowheads, and a hatchet from the store before barricading himself with nearby items and shot arrows at employees and customers.
Police say employees were able to run him out of the store before the authorities arrived.
The man was found shortly after in backyard about 1.2 miles from the store.
He was booked into the City of Denton Jail and is facing charges of criminal trespass and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. No injuries were reported as a result of the incident.
