There are plenty of great places all throughout DFW to grab a bite to eat, but according to a new report, there are three that stand out above the rest. Yelp recently unveiled their annual list of the top 100 US restaurants, and this year included eight selections from Texas, with three located here in the metroplex. After being left off last year’s list, North Texas is happy to be able to prove itself as a food town once again.
For the tenth year in a row, Yelp has released a list of the best restaurants in America. Taking the top overall spot this year was a Hawaiian-Korean cafe in Los Angeles called Broken Mouth. As for DFW, Yelp listed Sunny Thai in Arlington at number 58, Fattoush Mediterranean Kitchen in Pantego at number 62, and Ricky's Hot Chicken in Richardson at number 86.
According to WFAA, the other Texas restaurants included were Vietwich in Stafford at 15, Crumbville in Houston at 16, 1618 Asian Fusion in Austin at 22, burger-chan in Houston at 47, and Kiin Di in Austin at 99. After only having 3 spots last year, Texas definitely improved in 2023. Now there is no denying great food can be found throughout Texas.
