Delivery is more popular than ever before, with multiple services offering to bring purchases right to the customer’s door. However the one downside is the cost, as service fees add more to the order than most were expecting to pay. Luckily, a new startup in DFW is promising to make alcohol delivery faster and cheaper than ever before.
Alcohol delivery is only a few years old in Texas, but a new company is already looking to improve on the service. Lollidrop is a streamlined alcohol delivery service started by four Dallas entrepreneurs that promises to delivery alcohol to the customer’s door within minutes. The service is currently only available in Dallas County, but the company hopes to expand soon.

According to Dallas Culture Map, Lollidrop currently offers wine, beer, seltzers, spirits, sodas, bitters, Luxardo maraschino cherries, and bags of ice at a bargain price. “We have a TABC permit so we're an actual liquor store, and that allows us to match liquor store prices," said Henry Talamantes, Lollidrop's chief revenue officer. With this, DFW should no longer have to pay as much for the delivery as they do for the bottle of liquor.
