‘Star Wars’ fans are some of the hardest to please. Despite multiple sequels since the franchise’s original trilogy, fans constantly claim nothing will ever match the first three movies in the series. Apparently this includes some who worked on the original trilogy as well, as the franchise’s original editor, Marcia Lucas, recently slammed JJ Abrams and Kathleen Kennedy, claiming they don’t “have a clue.”

Marcia Lucas’ comments come from J.W. Rinzler’s new book; ‘Howard Kazanjian: A Producer’s Life about The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi.’ In the upcoming book about the beloved franchise, Lucas slams both JJ Abrams and Kathleen Kennedy, mainly for their decision to kill off Han Solo and Luke Skywalker in the most recent films. “Now that she’s running Lucasfilm and making movies, it seems to me that Kathy Kennedy and J.J. Abrams don’t have a clue about Star Wars. They don’t get it,” said Lucas.

According to NME, Lucas previously won an Oscar for editing the first ‘Star Wars’ film. She was also married to George Lucas from 1969 and 1983. At least she chose to go after Kennedy and Abrams, instead of her ex-husband.
