It seems flights getting cancelled is becoming the norm for a number of airlines, travelers are getting sick of it. Thursday was another bad day for the travel industry with large numbers of delayed or cancelled flights around the country. In total there were nearly 3,000 delays and over 800 flights cancelled.
With summer in full swing, many are excited for their vacation plans. Of course, most are just hoping they get there with the number of flights that have been cancelled lately. On Thursday, 802 flights canceled within, into or out of the United States, to go along with 2,931 delays, according to WFAA. The total global cancellation count was at 2,477.

Luckily, not too many of these occurred in DFW with the total global cancellation count to 2,477, to go along with 6 delays but no cancellations at Love Field. The biggest issue on Thursday seemed to occur in New York and New Jersey. Hopefully the mass cancellations don’t make their way to North Texas any time soon.
