The last 18 months have been extremely difficult for Ozzy Osbourne. He dealt with a major health scare, and was forced to postpone a number of shows. However, despite all the struggles he managed to find one major positive. According to Ozzy, he and former Black Sabbath bandmate Tony Iommi reconnected, and have never been closer.
The last time Ozzy Osbourne discussed his relationship with his Black Sabbath bandmates, things seemed to not be going well, as he claimed he received “bad vibes from them for being Ozzy.” While that came as a shock to Iommi at the time, it didn’t seem to completely end their relationship.
Speaking on his relationship with Iommi, Ozzy said “The Black Sabbath guys are never that far away from my thoughts, whether I like them today or not. Since I've been laid up these last 18 months, Tony Iommi has been such a support for me. So supportive. I've been closer to him in the last 18 months than I ever have been.” As Ozzy Osbourne continues to heal from his recent health scare, many fans were thrilled to learn his struggled helped bring him and Iommi closer.
