Peter Jackson has been teasing Beatles fans with his upcoming documentary about the band for years. Now, after three years of working on the project Jackson has decided to make some major changes. It was recently announced that ‘The Beatles: Get Back’ will now be a multi-part documentary series coming to Disney+ in November.

Originally slated for a theatrical release in August, ‘The Beatles: Get Back’ has been pushed back yet again, as it will now go straight to streaming. The six hour documentary will air in three parts, premiering on Disney+ across November 25, 26, and 27, according to Slash Film. While some fans were upset about another delay to the film, many were excited to hear they will be getting even more Beatles content now.

“This phenomenal collection of never-before-seen footage offers an unprecedented look at the close camaraderie, genius songwriting, and indelible impact of one of the most iconic and culturally influential bands of all time, and we can’t wait to share ‘The Beatles: Get Back’ with fans around the world,” said Executive Chairman and Chairman of the Board at The Walt Disney Company, Bob Iger. Hopefully these are the final changes, and fans will have this documentary soon enough.
