The internet is full of hilarious animal phots, but the question remains; which photo is the funniest? While that will be debated online continuously, one organization has set out to award the photographers who snap these hilarious shots year after year. This year, the Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards honored a number of photographers, including the “overall winner,” Jennifer Hadley from Texas.

Every year, the Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards holds a free and open competition to find the funniest animal photos of the year. This year, there were 5,000 submissions from over 85 countries, according to Fox News. While many photos were deserving, the winning photo was “Not So Cat-Like Reflexes" by Jennifer Hadley of Austin, Texas.

Hadley was able to capture the moment a lion cub fell from a tree in Tanzania. "I think part of what makes this contest great is that most of these photos probably happen by complete accident and that was certainly the case with the lion cub falling out of the tree," said Hadley. With all the hilarious animal photos on the internet, this is an award Texas can definitely be proud of.
