Not all dogs are energetic, but when food is brought into the picture, every dog’s inner beast comes flying out. While some dogs are poised enough to wait and gracefully snatch their treat in midair, most dogs’ excitement gets the best of them, as they spastically miss the food item being thrown their way. These moments are always hilarious, but sadly go by quickly. That’s why one photographer decided to snap photos of dogs during the hilarious moment.
Photographer Carolyne Cowan went viral recently thanks to her hilarious series of photos showing dogs attempting to catch a piece of cheese. Since 2018, Cowan has been holding dog friendly events where people can pay to have their dog’s photo taken during the hilarious moment. According to People, Cowan and her husband, who is in charge of throwing the cheese cubes, donate the money they receive to animal charities.
“It's fast and furious and total bedlam at times, but it's so funny," said Cowan. Since starting their animal photography company, the couple has raised over $20,000 for animal charities. With photos like these, it’s no wonder animals dominate the internet.
