
There are many factors people think about when picking a place to live. Of course, the moment kids are involved their needs tend to take over, as parents look for the best place to raise a family. Luckily for those in Plano, the city was recently named one of the best spots in America to raise a family.
Wallethub recently unveiled the results of a study to find "2023’s Best & Worst Places to Raise a Family." Looking at criteria such as, family fun, health & safety, education & child care, affordability, and socio-economics, the study compared 182 cities to come up with their list. According to Dallas Culture Map, Plano ranked fourth on the list, the only Texas city in the top five.
Other North Texas cities that made the cut include Grand Prairie at 51, Irving at 85, Fort Worth at 90, Arlington at 97, Garland at 98, and Dallas at 138. Overall, the most family friendly city in America is Fremont, California. Thanks to this list, there is now another reason for people to want to move to the metroplex.
