All over the country people have been complaining about increases in rental fees in recent years. While Texas is no stranger to these increases, a new study is claiming a North Texas city is one of the best for renters in the entire country. The study ranked Plano as the second best city for renters in America.
RentCafe recently unveiled the results of a study to find the best cities to rent in 2023. Looking at 136 cities across 20 different metrics, such as cost of living, local economy and quality of life, they were able to determine which cities people should rent in. Based on the data, Plano ranked as the second best city in the country, only behind Charleston, SC.
Plano wasn't alone on the list though, with three other Texas cities making the top 10, according to WFAA. "Plano's reputation for producing great academic achievers make it an ideal spot for families looking for a city with excellent public schools, in addition to its great air quality and significant share of high-end apartments," said the report. With this study, DFW has yet another reason for people to move here.
