Portillo’s is quickly becoming one of DFW’s favorite fast food restaurants. With only one location currently open in the metroplex, long lines have been a constant at the drive-thru. Luckily that should soon be changing as more locations are set to open in North Texas, with yet another Fort Worth location recently announced.

Residents of Allen, Arlington and Fort Worth have been patiently awaiting the opening of the Chicago-based fast food chain Portillo’s in their city. Luckily for those in Fort Worth, they will soon have two different locations to choose from. According to NBC DFW, Portillo’s recently announced plans to open a second location at the Alliance Town Center.

While no opening date has been announced for the Alliance location, the Portillo’s at the Southwest Corner of Tarrant Parkway and Tehama Ridge Parkway is expected to open in December. "Since opening our first location in Texas this past January, we have loved serving fans from all across the Dallas-Fort Worth area," said Portillo's CEO Michael Osanloo. Soon enough, Portillo’s will be a metroplex staple.
