They say everything’s bigger in Texas, and that’s especially true when it comes to food. That’s why any time a new restaurant comes to town, they have to make sure to have something that’s larger than life on the menu.
Luckily for one burger spot expanding to Texas, they have a menu that can only be described as “big,” as it features over 50 burgers, nearly 50 beers and about 25 different flavors of chicken wings.
Sickies Garage Burgers & Brews first launched in Fargo, North Dakota back in 2012, and has since expanded to nine locations throughout North Dakota, South Dakota, Nevada, Nebraska and Florida. However, the burger restaurant is now attempting the real test, opening their first Texas locations in Irving and Fort Worth. According to Dallas Observer, the first location in Irving is expected to open next month, with the Fort Worth location coming in August.
The restaurant has become known for their experimental, over-the-top burgers. Some of the most popular include the Twin Cam, a burger topped with peppered bacon and nacho cheese, between two grilled cheese sandwiches and The Glazed Doughnut Burger, which has American cheese and peppered bacon on a glazed doughnut bun. With burgers like that, they should do just fine in Texas.
