It has been quite some time since many went to their last concert, but when live music finally does return; two big names have decided to hit the stage together. Rick Springfield and Sammy Hagar recently announced plans to go on tour together in the near future. The two business partners are currently planning a “beach bar” tour.
The two singers performed together back in 2020 during Sammy Hagar’s audience free birthday bash. However, once the crowds are back, both Springfield and Hagar anticipate an excited show. “Whatever it is, we just throw this big party at the beach bar. Wherever we are, we may be in the middle of Iowa, but we're gonna bring the beach,” said Hagar.
As for what the two have been up to during their touring hiatus, Springfield claims he has been working on new music, while Hagar said the two recently began collaborating on a new song, according to Ultimate Classic Rock. “Rick wrote a song and conned me into singing on it a little bit, and it's badass, ‘Party at the Beach Bar,’” said Hagar. Hopefully when these two finally hit the road, there will be plenty of new music to share, along with the classics.
