With the existence of Uber and Lyft, you'd think there wouldn't be any more room for another ride sharing app.
BlackWolf, however, which will soon be launching in Austin, Dallas, and Houston offers something no other service does: their drivers will be armed.
Company founder Kerry KingBrown told MySA.com Blackwolf's top priority is safety for everyone, from drivers to passengers.
BlackWolf offers three tiers of rides to choose from (Comfort, Premium, and Armed) with drivers that have at least four years of experience in law enforcement, the military, and security.
KingBrown said, "We are excited to announce the opening of our operations in these new markets in early 2025.
"We are currently in the recruiting phase, hoping to sign up 35-50 drivers in each market before launch focusing on veterans, law enforcement officers, and private security sectors."
