Even knowing all of this, it still had to be shocking to just about everyone when Rod Stewart recently shared a video of himself fixing potholes in his neighborhood.
Driving over potholes is a frustration everyone has to go through, regardless of their social status. That’s why singer Rod Stewart decided to take matters into his own hands after struggling with potholes in his neighborhood. According to Ultimate Classic Rock, Stewart took to the street after local authorities ignored requests to fix his neighborhood’s potholes. As seen in the now viral clip, Stewart grabs a shovel and helps others fill the damage causing holes in the street.
“It’s been like this for ages, and the other day there was an ambulance with a burst tire. My Ferrari can’t go through here at all. So me and the boys thought we’d come and do it ourselves,” said Stewart. Many fans were stunned to see Stewart performing manual labor, though locals were excited to see something being done about the problem. Now Stewart knows when he’s done performing he can always fall back on road work.
