With Hollywood continuing to push out just about every reboot and sequel idea they can think of, it’s only a matter of time before they find one everyone can get behind. One that has been discussed for years but is yet to come to fruition is a sequel to Tim Burton’s 1988 film ‘Beetlejuice.’ However, after years of rumors it appears a sequel is finally in the works, and it has one of the biggest names in Hollywood attached to it.
It was recently announced that Brad Pitt’s production company was working on a sequel to ‘Beetlejuice.’ While not much is known about the project at this time, Pitt’s company, Plan B Entertainment, is reportedly looking to get into the franchise business after years of focusing on smaller projects. According to UPROXX, there are no other names attached to the project other than Pitt’s at this time.

Of course, many are hoping Michael Keaton and Winona Ryder will be reprising their roles from the original. Fans were thrilled to hear the ‘Beetlejuice’ sequel rumor return; while some worry it would destroy the film’s legacy. Hopefully Brad Pitt is the one that can finally make the idea work.
