Ever since Eddie Van Halen passed away, fans have been begging the surviving members of Van Halen to reunite as a tribute to the rock icon. While rumors have swirled over the last few years, they were once again shot down by one of the band’s former singers. During a recent interview, Sammy Hagar claimed there will be no Van Halen reunion, disappointing many fans.
Sammy Hagar has been one of the most vocal members of Van Halen about a possible reunion over the years. However, it appears even Hagar has given up on that dream. During a recent interview, Hagar claimed there is no chance of a Van Halen reunion.
“Alex won't respond to me. I reach out to him. I haven't done it in a long time now, 'cause it's, like, 'Hey, you wanna talk to me? Call me.' But there's not going to be a VAN HALEN reunion,” said Hagar. According to Blabbermouth, Hagar went on to say there’s “no way” David Lee Roth would cooperate with him for a reunion. Sadly it appears fans may never get the reunion they’ve been dreaming of.
