The most popular Christmas present this holiday season wasn't some new gadget or toy. No, if you have a teen or pre-teen in your family, chances are they wanted a Stanley Cup.
Stanleys are all the rage right now, and that's with people of all ages. Hundreds of North Texas shoppers were lined up outside of Target as early as 3 a.m. yesterday in order to get their hand on a new, Starbucks pink Stanley!
The Stanley, which is exclusive to Target, is part of their "Galentines Day" collection. Cedar Hill resident Crissy Reed was one of the hundreds of shoppers who were lined up early to snag a tumbler of their own.
She told FOX 4 the store would only allow one purchase per household, and employees were even checking IDs to make sure no one was "double dipping." "My daughter and I got it. I love it! So it was a must," she said.
The Stanleys were retailing at Target for $49.95, but some have been spotted on eBay for as much as $300!
