Six Flags is moving its headquarters back to Arlington and they are already striking deals to improve the park for North Texans for years to come.
Six Flags just announced the acquisition of an acclaimed, fan-favorite roller coaster, the ArieForce One, named in honor of Fun Spot America Founder John Arie Sr.
According to WFAA, the coaster tops out at 154 feet with a first drop of 146 feet and a top speed of 64 mph. The ride also includes the world's largest zero-gravity stall and several negative-G moments.
ArieForce One closed on August 2, 2026 when Fun Spot America Atlanta shut down, and its acquisition was an easy decision for Six Flags to make.

We are thrilled to preserve its legacy, invest in its future and bring this extraordinary attraction to a new generation of guests. This acquisition represents our commitment to delivering world-class thrills and creating unforgettable experiences across the Six Flags portfolio.”
Six Flags says ArieForce One will be introduced in the 2028-2029 season but have not indicated where in the park it will be located.
