As any homeowner knows, finding the perfect house is nearly impossible. With so many factors going in to buying a home, it's hard to come away with a property that matches the buyer's lifestyle perfectly. Usually some changes will still need to be made after the purchase to make it perfect, and that's exactly what one DFW man did; building a futuristic home that was inspired by the movie, 'Tron: Legacy.'
There are many homes throughout DFW that make those passing by do a double take, but the latest to get people's attention has people more than stunned. The home, located in the Greenway Parks neighborhood of Dallas, features three-bedrooms and 3½ bathrooms, and totals 4,120 square feet, but what makes it different is the home's design. "I was fascinated by the geometric shapes, clean lines, LED-lighting accents," said Michael Shaun Jackson, who purchased the home in 2018.
According to Wall Street Journal, the home includes a retractable television, a serpentine couch, Ferrari furniture, a floating tub under lit by LED and titanium fire glass. "The cost shifted dramatically, because I had access to 3-D design programs that a friend of mine was experimenting with. I kept brainstorming, and coming up with fun ideas to test in the program," said Jackson. Now, $1.35 million later, he finally has the perfect home.
