While Grapevine is certainly the Christmas capital of Texas, it doesn't appear the Christmas spirit extends to the entire Lone Star State.
A new study conducted by BetMGM Casino found Texas to be one of the states least excited for Christmas!
Texas ranked 46th overall in the nation for Christmas excitement, based on an analysis of 30 Christmas-related keywords using data from Google. Texas ranked in the bottom five with an overall score of 46.48, ahead of only Colorado (45.87), West Virginia (41.32), Wisconsin (40.51), and Pennsylvania (30.09).
The top five states most excited for Christmas include Kansas (77.74), Alaska (73.67), Idaho (72.96), California (70.77), and Kentucky (69.12)
