Taylor Sheridan wants to make Texas the new hub for TV and film production.

Per WFAA, Sheridan recently partnered with Ross Perot Jr.'s real estate development company Hillwood to open what is being touted as Texas' largest TV, film production studio.

The 450,000-square foot facility will be located in the 27,000-acre AllianceTexas development in north Fort Worth near Perot Field Fort Worth Alliance Airport.

Sheridan's SGS Studios has already opened a two-building campus, known as SGS 1 and SGS 2, where filming on the second season of the Paramount show Landman began March.

Sheridan said in a news release, "SGS Studios isn't just about sound stages or incentives — it's about reclaiming the independence and grit that built this industry in the first place.

"Texas offers something rare: the space to dream big, the freedom to build fast, and a community that still believes storytelling matters. Ross, Mike and the entire team at Hillwood are truly exceptional partners, and we are building something permanent that will be the centerpiece for one of the most state-of-the-art studios in the business."
