As the TCU Horned Frogs prepare for the upcoming college football season, players and coaches alike received some recent words of inspiration from one of the program's most storied athletes.
TCU alum and NFL Hall of Famer recently visited the team at the Mike and Brenda Harrison Football Performance Center and gifted the program an item he told the coaches and athletes "an item money can't buy."
Tomlinson presented the team his Hall of Fame gold jacket, which will be displayed on TCU's campus!
Tomlinson, who played for TCU from 1997 to 2000 before moving on to the NFL with the San Diego Chargers from 2001 to 2009 and the New York Jets from 2010 to 2011, told NBC DFW, "It's a humbling experience to think where I've come from to presenting this gold jacket and to be able to give back to this program that has given me so much."
