Journey Castillo has probably seen more of the United States in three years than most people have seen their entire lives.
With a name like "Journey" you would expect nothing less, right?
Per MySA, days after she was born, Journey joined her parents, Eric and Valerie Castillo, on a hike at Pikes Peak and Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado. At ten months old, she could already hike a mile.
And at just three-years-old, Journey is the youngest person to visit all 63 U.S. National Parks! The last stop was Alaska's Lake Clark National Park and Preserve, which the family reached last Saturday.
The Castillos are from San Antonio, and hope to inspire other families to get outdoors together and connect with nature.
The family's website reads: "Traveling doesn't need to end when you have a baby; it's a good time to start. Every day, get outdoors and experience nature. If you get the opportunity, visit a National Park. The experience is therapeutic and spiritual. It's not easy traveling to these places and sometimes the elements are harsh. My stories and tips might not be for where you are, but you can adapt them to your own adventure."
