A family in Amarillo was outside barbecuing last week when they noticed a baby bird lying on the ground.
Fearing it would get too cold, the family decided to wrap the bird in the closest thing they could find: a warm tortilla.
The family contacted the Wild West Wildlife Rehabilitation Center for help, who scheduled a transport to the family's home to pick up the bird and take it to the rehabilitation center.
According to NBC DFW, the center said they will order insects and frozen pinkie mice to feed the baby bird, identified as a Mississippi kite, and was aptly given the name Taquito, over the next two months.
