Every night when the clock strikes 11 P.M. Whataburgers all over Texas get a rush of customers as the fast food chain begins serving their breakfast menu. Of course, some nights the late night cravings belong to those looking to do more than just eat. That’s exactly what happened recently in Houston when a man stole a car outside Whataburger, but was caught after he ate his meal and fell asleep in the car.

Last week, a man in Houston was arrested after he stole a car from Whataburger and fell asleep in it. Deputies from the Harris County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office claim the man broke into the car, stole a credit card, bought food with it, got back into the car, ate the food and fell asleep. According to KXAN, the crime occurred after 11 P.M. at the Whataburger in the 28000 block of the Northwest Freeway.
