There are a lot of great reasons to live in Texas. That’s why so many residents and businesses have moved here over the last few years.
And it seems that once people are here, they stay here.
According to the Independent, Texas is the “stickiest” state in the nation, meaning that once they’re here, it’s the state residents don’t want to leave the most.
Per a study from the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, Texas retains 82% of its residents, followed by North Carolina (75.5%), Georgia (74.2%), California (73.0%), and Utah (72.9%).
On the flipside, the top states where their resident seem to can’t wait to leave include Wyoming, North Dakota, Alaska, Rhode Island, and South Dakota.
