Well this certainly had to be an awkward day at the office.
KBTX is a news station just outside of College Station, and they recently ran a report about the arrest of one of their own anchors Heather Korvar.
Apparently, Korvar was arrested after getting into a fight with her boyfriend that resulted in her breaking his nose! They got into a spat at a local Mexican restaurant where Korvar evidently helped herself to a couple of margaritas.
The argument turned heated, after which Korvar allegedly punched her boyfriend in the face 12 times, bit one arm and scratched up the other to which he barricaded himself in the bathroom.
Korvar is facing a charge of assault family violence causing bodily injury, which is a Class A misdemeanor. She's been an anchor at KBTX for just over a year.
