Often when people complain about being bored, or having nothing fun to do, they blame the area they live in, believing another city would fill their life with constant entertainment. Of course, here in Texas it is hard to make that claim, as it seems there is something of interest around every corner. In fact, a new study recently ranked Texas on their top 10 most fun states list, and they have the stats to back it up.
WalletHub recently conducted a study to find the most fun states in the country. The study looked at a total of 26 entertainment factors like the number of golf courses, casinos and fitness centers per capita to determine their rankings. According to CW33, they found Texas to be the eighth most fun state in the country.
Texas got to number eight thanks to having the most restaurants, amusement parks and movie theaters in the country per capita. Overall, California claimed the number one spot on the list. However, Texans are happy with that as long as it keeps them away from the Lone Star state.
